At Elounda Heights, the sea is part of the architecture. Every studio, apartment and suite opens onto its own terrace facing the water - from the Spinalonga Suites with their private pools looking across to the island fortress, to the Mirabello Suites and sea-view rooms above the bay.

Adults-only and family-run, this is a quiet, personal place, sized for its guests rather than for crowds. Breakfast is à la carte, cooked to order every morning. Homemade jams, cakes and Cretan dishes come out of the kitchen through the day, and evenings end at Narkisos, under the open sky.

Days here fill themselves without ever needing to leave: a swim in the saltwater pool, a massage, cocktails at Aphrodite as the lights come on across the water, piano and Cretan music evenings at Narkisos  Many of our guests return summer after summer; that says it better than we can.
